Nomads Golf Club Raises $25,000 for Warriors Community Foundation
Nomads Golf Club has once again shown its commitment to supporting the community, raising an incredible $25,000 for the Warriors Community Foundation (WCF) during their annual charity golf day at the Royal Auckland & Grange Golf Course in May.
The funds raised will go directly towards WCF’s educational programmes, which focus on literacy, leadership, and wellbeing initiatives that are delivered to tamariki and rangatahi across Aotearoa.
Wayne Scholtz from Nomads Golf Club New Zealand said the day was about more than just golf.
“We’re proud to bring people together for a great day on the course, but most importantly, to make a real difference in the lives of young people. Supporting the Warriors Community Foundation means we can help create brighter futures through education and wellbeing.”
Warriors Community Foundation CEO Lincoln Jefferson expressed his gratitude for the partnership.
“We are incredibly thankful to the Nomads Golf Club for their generous support. This $25,000 contribution will enable us to continue delivering impactful educational programmes that equip our tamariki with the skills, confidence, and wellbeing tools they need to thrive.”
The Warriors Community Foundation is the official charitable partner of the One New Zealand Warriors and delivers a range of initiatives tackling literacy, mental health, and wellbeing in schools and communities.
Nomads NZ is part of a global network of golf clubs founded on the principles of fellowship, philanthropy, and sport. Through its charity events, Nomads NZ provides vital support to local organisations and communities, demonstrating how the game of golf can be a powerful force for good.
