Wainui Playing Day November 2025

Nomads Golf at Wainui Golf Club

On Tuesday 11th of November 31 members of the Nomads Golf Club convened at Wainui Golf Club for their scheduled fixture. The venue, situated north of Auckland, offered an excellent championship course that was presented in outstanding condition. Weather conditions were favourable, with clear skies and a light breeze contributing to an enjoyable day of golf.

The course, noted for its strategic bunkering and undulating greens, provided a stern but fair test of golfing ability. Accuracy from the tee and careful course management were essential, and members responded admirably to the challenge.

Throughout the round, the spirit of Nomads Golf Club was evident. Members conducted themselves with courtesy and sportsmanship, encouraging one another and maintaining the camaraderie for which the club is well known. Several notable performances were recorded, including long drives on the par‑5 holes and skilful short‑game play around the greens.

At the conclusion of play, members assembled in the clubhouse for an extensive buffet dinner, refreshments and prize‑giving. The gathering provided an opportunity to acknowledge individual achievements and to reflect collectively on the day’s competition. The hospitality extended by Wainui Golf Club was greatly appreciated and contributed significantly to the success of the event.

The fixture at Wainui Golf Club reaffirmed the values of Nomads Golf Club: fellowship, respect for the game, and the enjoyment of golf in fine company. It was a most successful occasion and will be remembered as a highlight of the season.
