Australian Nationals – Kooralbyn Valley Course Queensland 25th-27th October

A final call out for the Aussie Nationals in October.
Each year New Zealand is well represented over the 2 tournament days and we would like to retain this tradition.
Costs have been kept to a minimum at AUD$875. This includes:
• 2 nights accommodation (sharing),
• competition entry fees and
• the practise round on Friday (so 3 rounds of golf).
• Breakfast and dinner
Bus transportation is available from Brisbane airport to the course on Friday and Sunday at AUD$35 per trip.

New Website
We would all agree that Peter Griffiths and Hentie have done a superb job on the new website. We will be spending the next few weeks learning our way around and getting it populated with current and past information. We are experiencing a few technical glitches as the committee get used to using it so thank you in advance for your patience.

All bookings going forward are to be made on the new website and no longer via DotGolf.

Playing Days
The last 2 playing days were held at Muriwai in June and Tieke in July. With the amount we’ve experienced over the last few weeks, both courses were in excellent condition. Both playing days had a cool breeze and the average scoring showed this with the correct guess on 31.4 (John Endean) and 31.5 (Fred Hawke). This has been 4 consecutive months of scoring averages between 31.2 and 31.4.

Over both playing days we hosted guests with Andy bringing Christo Muller, David bringing Brett Stuart and Wayne bringing JJ Greyling, Philip de Wet and Johan Hugo. We hope the guests enjoyed themselves and look forward to seeing them soon.

The playing day shirts arrive month end and we will have a number of new members going through induction. Welcome to all of you to the Nomads family.
