Southern Natal Whale Nationals
Selborne Golf Estate Pennington ( 1 hour from Durban)

Newsletter No. 1
August 2025
Greetings from the Committee of the Whale Nationals.
There are a mere 7 months to go before flag raising in Pennington at the picturesque Selborne Golf Estate, the venue for the 61st Nomads National Tournament. The 7th of March 2026 marks the start of another Nationals week where friends are once again reunited, and rivalries rekindled. The event committee is well on its way in their preparations for the tournament, an event which we believe will leave a lasting and memorable impression on every participant, guest and partner.
Selborne Golf Estate is situated 109 km from King Shaka International Airport on the Hibiscus Coast of KZN and quite rightly deserves its readers’ choice award as the “Jewel of the South Coast”. We offer you, the golfer, guest and partner a complete one stop venue where all your needs for the week will be taken care of. The furthest you would have to travel would be the 3,5 km to Pennington’s pristine blue flag beach, should you so wish.
